NO NATIONS UNDER A GROOVE

Music can make you want to dance, sing, bob your head, clap your hands, tap your feet, snap your fingers and so on.
It's a natural bodily response as a consequence of interaction with the various rhythms and sounds.
What music doesn't make you do is, stand upright to attention.
This bodily behaviour is an exclusive reserved for national anthems.
Of course, it doesn't stem from your body reacting to the dynamcs of musical sounds, but is merely derived from psychological indoctrination.
It's more connected to Pavlovian reflex experiments than expressing yourself to music.
