KING DON'T MEAN A THING

The UK National Anthem is more like a glorification of royalty than about the land-mass people live on.

Verse 1 evidence ...

God Save the King
[Verse 1:]
God save our gracious King,
Long live our noble King,
God save the King!
Send him victorious,
Happy and glorious,
Long to reign over us,
God save the King!

Verse's 2-3-4 has GOD defending Britain, not the King.
Verse 5 then has the King receiving free gifts, and for not having done anything deserving.
The final verse (6) is one that everyone has to stay hush-hush over because it refers to the Scottish rebellion.
Englands Field Marshal George Wade's army was ordered to crush the Scots, the verse reveals.
It was not God or the King defending the border.
Which in turn means, when they say it is the British national anthem, they really mean English, and even then, just the crown.

Fantasy island indeed.!!
